iAM Capital is a global private equity investment group aiming to generate value for investors by deploying capital into alternative investment strategies with a focus on real estate and renewable energy.
Since its founding in 1997, iAM Capital has raised and managed over 20 alternative funds and direct investments in real estate and renewable energy, reaching €3.2B of AUM. Since 2015, iAM Capital has invested in more than 25 real estate deals through its dedicated real estate funds, and acquired in excess of 50 MWp of solar plants.
Through iAM Invest Ltd, our London based FCA regulated subsidiary, we act as an investment manager to our specialized Luxembourg investment funds, which are structured as regulated EU Alternative Investment Funds.
Our current mandate includes acting as the investment manager of:
We are also the co-lead sponsor of FinTLV Ventures, an Israel based private equity fund investing in emerging financial services technologies, insure-tech, blockchain and big data solutions.
iAM Capital team has over five decades of experience in real estate investments and real estate fund management.
Our competitive edge in this sector stems from our ability to source off-market opportunities and to identify inefficiencies in the utilization of certain real estate assets in iAM Capital’s target markets.
iAM Capital deploys capital for real estate co-investments and direct acquisitions through its sophisticated understanding of local markets and a defined, focused investment matrix. We execute structured financing through relationships with banking and other funding partners, and typically target distressed opportunities in recovering markets with solid return performance underpinned by pre-defined, achievable exit strategies.
Following on from the success of IREO and ICE II, we are launching our third-generation real estate fund that will focus on creating long-term capital growth through value-add strategies focused on the Italian market, with the majority of the fund to be invested in Milan and Rome.
ICE III is a 6-year term fund with a €200M fundraising target and has €50M of initial commitments as of year-end 2022.

iAM Capital seeks to take advantage of fragmented secondary opportunities by being an active agent in creating value through consolidation and refinancing of renewable energy assets, a sector that is rapidly growing due to increased global demand and volatility in energy markets.
Renewable energy projects provide uncorrelated investments in real assets, exposure to the growing alternative energy sector, and tend to offer relative stability of revenues over the long term with the strong prospect of favorable exits.
The IGO fund was a closed-end fund launched in September 2015. In one of the Italy’s largest solar transactions of 2016, iAM Capital, through IGO and other investment vehicles, concluded the €127M acquisition of a portfolio of 11 solar energy companies (located in 30 separate sites) owning photovoltaic installations spread across Italy with a total output of 34.5MWp.
This portfolio was sold in 2019 for €140M and IGO was fully liquidated in 2020. iAM Capital has since continued its investments into solar PV plants through separate vehicles and intends to sustain this strategy in 2023 and beyond.
